New Delhi: Two-wheeler manufacturer, Royal Enfield on Friday posted a decline of 4 per cent in its domestic sales to 67,538 units in October 2019. The sales stood at 70,044 units in October last year.

A substantial increase of 160% was seen in models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc to 7,707 units as compared to 2,967 units last month.

Models with engine capacity upto 350cc, however dipped 5 per to 64,257 units last month.

Company reported an increase in its overall sales to 71,964 units in October 2019 as against 70,451 units in the month under review last year, an uptick of 2 per cent.

Exports jumped 987 per cent to 4,426 units dispatched as compared to 407 units exported in the same month last fiscal.

Overall year-to-date sales (April-October) witnessed a de-growth of 17 per cent to 4,22,262 units last month.
