New Delhi: Chennai based TVS Motor Company on Friday has reported a decline of 18.83 per cent in its total sales to 323,368 units in October 2019 as against sales of 398,427 units in the month of October 2018.
The company has seen an uptrend in October sales and has significantly rationalised BS IV stocks for the transition to BS VI, TVS said in a statement.
On two-wheeler front, the company registered the sales of 308,161 units last month as against sales of 384,307 units in the month of October 2018, a dip of 19.8 per cent. Domestic two-wheelers were down 25 per cent to 252,684 units.
The Company’s total exports grew by 20 per cent to 69,339 units last month as compared to 57,926 units in the month under review last year. Within the segment, two-wheeler exports saw an increase of 22 per cent to 55,477 units.
Three-wheeler sales of the company also witnessed a growth of 8 per cent as 15,207 units were dispatched last month as compared to 14,120 units in October 2018.
