New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Wednesday has launched its first BS-VI compliant two-wheeler, Activa 125 at a starting price of Rs 67,490 (ex-showroom Delhi) for standard variant.
The other two variants- Alloy and Deluxe at priced at Rs 70,990 and Rs 74,490, respectively.
It comes with a new 125cc HET BS-VI PGM-FI engine powered by Enhanced Smart Power (ESP) and has a silent start, the company said in a statement. The company is also offering 6 year warranty on this scooter.
On the sidelines of the launch of BS-VI two-wheeler, Nitin Gadkari, Minister, MoRTH said, “Launch of first BS-VI Activa 125 will be a step towards a greener environment. I congratulate HMSI for taking such initiative ahead of time.”
According to the company, the new Honda Activa 125 BS-VI is equipped with new real time informatics, ACG starter, programmed fuel injection, and improved tumble flow and compact combustion chamber among others.
