New Delhi: Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the new Gixxer in India at a price tag of Rs 1,00,212 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Suzuki Gixxer is powered by a refined 155cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled fuel-injection engine that churns out 14.1 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
This engine is highly fuel-efficient and provides superior performance, the company said in a release. The new Suzuki Gixxer comes equipped with ABS as standard complying to the new safety norms. The company hopes, this bike will help it to boost the market share in the 150-160cc segment.
The new Suzuki Gixxer comes in three colour options – Metallic Sonic Silver & Glass Sparkle Black; Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue & Glass Sparkle Black. Incorporating the European design, the Gixxer offers a head-turning appearance with a sharp styling and low crouched silhouette.
It is equipped with a newly designed instrument cluster and distinctive front and rear combination LED lights.
Speaking about the launch of the new Suzuki Gixxer, Koichiro Hirao, Company Head, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt.
