New Delhi: Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto on Friday has reported an increase 13.32 per cent in its consolidated profit to Rs 1,408.49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019. The profit stood at Rs 1,220.77 crore for Q4 FY18.
Company’s revenue from operations also increased 8.9 per cent to Rs 7,395.19 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 6,788.43 crore in the same quarter last year.
For the fourth quarter, Bajaj Auto’s EBITDA stood at Rs 1,266 crore while EBITDA margins were 17 per cent.
On yearly basis, profit after taxes grew to Rs 4,927.6 crore in FY19 as compared to Rs 4,218.94 crore in FY18, an uptick of 16.8 per cent.
Revenue from operations increased 18 per cent to Rs 30,249.96 crore in FY19 as against Rs 6,788.43 crore a year ago.
Bajaj Auto, the maker of Pulsar was the only manufacturer to enhance its market share to 12 per cent in last fiscal from 9.8 per cent in FY18. The company also recorded a strong double digit growth of around 28.7 per cent to 2,541,320 units sold last year. The year before it, domestic sales for Bajaj Auto was recorded at 1,974,577 units.
The board of the company has recommended a dividend of Rs 60 per share.
